Thank you so much… He really is doing great. Today has been his best day yet. Super frisky and played with his rope and wanted to wrestle with it. He’s been off his pain meds for a day and half as our Vet checked him out and said just use them PRN. We still give him and anti-inflammatory at bed time and he’s just fine.
Bubba is our amazingly courageous pawgrandboy. He is our son's service dog and he has spent the seven years of his life taking care of our son. A Marine Veteran who suffered seizures early in his career in the Marines. It is with great relief that his seizures have since resolved. Fast forward, Bubba spends a great deal of his time with my husband and I. He has brought so much joy to us since loosing our beloved Yorkie to cancer last year. I was so heart broken when he was diagnosed with Oseosarcoma Dec. 15th. When the vet told us of the pain he was in and that amputation would free him from this pain we made the decision to focus on quality vs quantity of life. He underwent amputation of his left from leg December 19th. He is eight days post surgery and doing well. Uncertain of how long we have to spend with him, we are committed to make his days on this earth the happiest ever.
