Look at him! Omd I am totally in love with him!! He is PAIN FREE and HAPPY!! I am really really glad that he is doing so well. Thank you for sharing, Bubba is a very special dog 💖 💖 💖
Thank you Jackie and Huckleberry… Indeed he is a very special dog. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. He is indeed pain free and happy and we are praying that we can keep him this way.
That MADE MY DAY Bubba! You are the hoppiest Tripawd ever, I think you were born to romp in the snow. I’m having Jerry flashbacks of his first few romps in the snow, it was magical, just like it is with you.
Has it really been 28 days? You make it look so easy! What a joy to watch you get stronger and stronger. Keep it up handsome.
Thank you Jerry. There definitely something magical about this all. Through all this we knew one thing for certain, we will do everything within our power to make sure he stays pain free and happy. During his massage today I discovered a lump on his left side at the base of his ribs. I’ll have it checked out by or vet but for now, he’s happy and that’s all that matter. Tomorrow will be his first day home alone since before his amputation for more than a couple hours. Tuesday is the only day I have to work outside the house other than that I work from home. I think I’m the one having separation anxiety, lol
Bubba is our amazingly courageous pawgrandboy. He is our son's service dog and he has spent the seven years of his life taking care of our son. A Marine Veteran who suffered seizures early in his career in the Marines. It is with great relief that his seizures have since resolved. Fast forward, Bubba spends a great deal of his time with my husband and I. He has brought so much joy to us since loosing our beloved Yorkie to cancer last year. I was so heart broken when he was diagnosed with Oseosarcoma Dec. 15th. When the vet told us of the pain he was in and that amputation would free him from this pain we made the decision to focus on quality vs quantity of life. He underwent amputation of his left from leg December 19th. He is eight days post surgery and doing well. Uncertain of how long we have to spend with him, we are committed to make his days on this earth the happiest ever.

What a great video – Bubba looks so hoppy! Love how his tail wags when you approach – that’s a great sign he’s feeling good!
Go Bubba!
